많은 다른 서방 국가들과 함께 미국은 실존적 위기의 고통을 겪고 있는데, 그런 사실이 대부분의 사람들에게 분명해졌습니다. 다면적이고 다층적으로 벌어진 이 위기는 다음과 같이 우리 삶의 거의 면과 모든 제도에 영향을 미칩니다 : 금융 시스템, 정치 체제, 교육 시스템, 미디어, 대중 문화, 사법 시스템, 가족, 심지어 교회 자체 - 이들 모든 것이 완전히 실패하거나 어느 정도 오작동합니다.

 

April 29, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) - That America, along with a number of other Western nations, is in the throes of an existential crisis has become obvious to most. Multifaceted and multi-layered, this crisis affects nearly every institution and aspect of our lives: the financial system, the political establishment, the education system, the media, popular culture, the judicial system, the family and even the Church itself - all these are either failing outright or malfunctioning to one degree or another.

 

서구 제도의 붕괴는 끊임없이 증가하는 정치적 불화 같은 극단적 대결 상황으로 비화되는데, 의사 소통이 막히고, 광범위한 선거 사기, 모든 수준의 부채 폭주, 약탈, 폭력 및 불법의 증가로 인해 전면적인 파괴적 증상을 일으켰습니다. 이런 막장 상황은 때로는 바퀴가 떨어져나가고 전체 사회구조가 무너지고 있는 것처럼 느껴집니다.

이 다차원적 혼란으로 인해 많은 사람들이 당황하고 혼란스러운데, 움직이고 있는 많은 부분의 복잡한 상황을 이해할 수 없습니다. 그들은 몹시 위협적인 일이 일어나고 있다고 느끼지만 위험을 정확히 지적하거나 식별을 할 수 없습니다.

 

The breakdown within western institutions has given rise to a variety of disruptive symptoms such as ever-increasing political discord, breakdown in communication, widespread election fraud, runaway debt on every level, looting, violence, and growing lawlessness. At times, it feels as if the wheels are coming off and the whole societal structure is falling apart.

This multidimensional turmoil has left many people bewildered and confused, unable to make sense of the complex situation with many moving parts. They feel that something deeply threatening is taking place, but they cannot quite pinpoint or identify the danger.

 

만일 여러분이 표면적 혼란의 소음 소리의 아래를 살펴보면 현재 우리가 직면한 위험의 본질이 실제로는 복잡하지 않은 것이며 새로운게 아님을 알 수 있습니다. 오히려 이 시나리오는 지난 100 년 동안 전세계의 여러나라에서 수십 번 벌어진 것입니다.

현재 미국에 대한 가장 큰 위협은 이것입니다 : 우리 사회는 폭정과 억압을 강제하는 내부 조직 internal elements에 의해 점령당하는 과정에 있습니다. 우리가 목격하고 있는 것은 우리 눈앞에서 오래된 전체주의 원형이 전개되는 모습입니다.

 

If you look beneath the din of the surface turmoil, however, you will see that the nature of the danger we face at this moment is actually not complicated or new. Quite to the contrary, this scenario has played itself out dozens of times in the last one hundred years in various lands across the globe.

The greatest threat to America at present is this: Our society is in the process of being taken over by internal elements bent on tyranny and oppression. What we are witnessing is the unfolding of the old totalitarian archetype right before our eyes.

 

오늘날의 미국과 다른 서방 민주주의 국가의 경우, 폭정의 세력은 깨어난 진보적 좌파 woke progressive left의 형태로 육화했습니다.
오늘날 깨어난 진보적 좌파는 지난 세기 동안 여러 나라의 인구를 지배하고 공포에 떨게 했던 다른 전체주의 운동과 같은 심리적, 이념적 뿌리에서 비롯되었습니다.

우리는 다른 곳에서 깨어난 진보주의자들과 스탈린, 히틀러, 마오, 카스트로, 김과 같은 과거의 악명 높은 폭군들 사이의 본질적인 유사성을 지적했습니다. 이 비교가 과장된 것이라고 생각하지 않도록 깨어남 이념주의자들의 작전 방식을 살펴보십시오. 다음은 우리 모두가 관찰하고 경험할 수있는 그들의 행동의 특징입니다 :

 

In the case of the present-day United States and a number of other Western democracies, the forces of tyranny have incarnated in the form of the woke progressive left.

Today's woke progressive left hails from the same psychological and ideological root as the other totalitarian movements that have ruled over and terrorized the populations of various countries over the course of the last century.

We have pointed out elsewhere the essential affinity between the conduct of the woke progressives and the infamous tyrants of the past such as Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Castro, and Kim, among others. Lest you think this comparison an exaggeration, consider the modus operandi of the woke. Here are some of the hallmarks of their behavior which we all have had the chance to observe and experience:

 

- 자유 언론과 표현의 억제
- 검열
- 반대자 제거

- 강압 행위
- 정적에 대한 신체적 위협
- 발뺌
- 국민을 공포 몰이하기

 

• Suppression of free speech and expression
• Censorship
• Cancelation of dissenters
• Harassment of objectors
• Coercion
• Physical intimidation of opponents
• Chicanery
• Terrorizing of populations

여러분이 보다시피 좌파 깨어남 주의자는 기본적으로 다른 전체주의자들과 동일한 행동 특성을 나타냅니다. 그들은 모두 자신을 반대하거나 동의하지 않는 사람들을 무자비하게 억압하고, 검열하고, 위협하고, 제거합니다.

유일한 차이점은 이러한 조치 중 일부를 구현할 때 나타나는 심각도입니다. 예를 들어 러시아, 중국, 쿠바의 폭군은 감옥이나 총알로 적을 제거했던 반면에, 미국 좌파는 소셜 미디어 계정을 차단하고, 반대 의견표명을 거부하며, 반대자들을 해고함으로써 제거합니다.

그러나 이것은 미국 좌파가 폭군적 체제를 운영함에 있어서 전체주의적 좌파보다 더 자비롭거나 동정심이 많기 때문이  아닙니다. 진짜 이유는 서방세계의 좌파는 아직도 그들의 본성에서 나오는 기본 충동을 자유롭게 실행할 힘이 부족하기 때문입니다. 그러나 그들이 점점 더 많은 권력을 확보함에 따라 그들은 전체주의적 목표를 추구하는 데 점점 더 뻔뻔스럽고 무자비해 지고 있습니다.

 

As you can see, the woke left fundamentally exhibits the same behavioral traits as the other totalitarians. They all ruthlessly suppress, censor, intimidate, and cancel those who oppose or disagree with them.

The only difference lies in the degree of severity seen in the implementation of some of these measures. For example, the tyrants in Russia, China, or Cuba would cancel their opponents by jail or bullet, whereas the American left cancels by blocking social media accounts, refusal to allow opposing views, and getting dissenters fired from their jobs.

This, however, is not due to the fact that the American left is more merciful or compassionate than their totalitarian counterparts in more tyrannical systems, but because in the West they still lack the power to freely implement the base urges of their nature. But as they are gaining more and more power, they are becoming increasingly brazen and ruthless in the pursuit of their totalitarian objectives.

다른 모든 전체주의 운동과 마찬가지로 진보주의자들은 그들이 추월하려는 사회에 폭정을 부과하는 것을 정당화하기 위해 사용하는 이데올로기를 가지고 있습니다.
미국의 현대 전체주의 좌파의 이데올로기는 깨어남 주의라고 할 수있다.
그 깨어남이라 함은 다음의 네 가지 이론적 기둥을 가집니다 :

 

Like every other totalitarian movement, the progressives also have an ideology which they use to justify the imposition of tyranny on the society they seek to overtake.

The ideology of America's contemporary totalitarian left can be called wokeism.

The four intellectual pillars of wokeism are:

 

- 완곡 어법 사회 정의로 위장한 반-백인 인종주의.
- 동성애 및 트랜스젠더와 같은 성적으로 일탈적인 생활 방식을 조장하기 위하여 주로 수행되는 전통적인 도덕성에 대한 거부. 진정으로 초현실적인 현실 반전에서 그들은 전통적인 도덕을 동성애 혐오, 트랜스 혐오 및 유사한 용어로 비난함으로써 전통 이념을 마치 부도덕 한 것인양 묘사합니다.

- 기후 변화를 저지하는 것이 바람직하고 가능하다는 개념에 기반한 환경 우선주의.
- 기독교 종교에 대한 강렬한 적대감을 가지며, 그들은 기독교를 가부장적이고 편협하고 억압적인 것으로 부정적으로 표현합니다.

 

• Anti-white racism disguised under the euphemism social justice.
• Rejection of traditional morality, which is primarily carried out by the promotion of sexually deviant lifestyles such as homosexuality and transgender. In a truly surreal inversion of reality, they paint traditional morality as immoral by charging it with being homophobic, transphobic, and similar terms.
• Environmentalism based on the notion that it is desirable and possible to arrest climate change.
• Intense hostility toward Christian religion, which they negatively paint as patriarchal, intolerant, and oppressive.

깨어남 이념의 세계관의 매개 변수를 둘러싸는 것은 위의 네 가지 이론입니다. 그들의 의제를 주의깊게 살펴보면 진보가 추구하는 거의 모든 프로그램과 이니셔티브가 이러한 기둥 중 하나 또는 일부 조합에서 파생된다는 것을 인식할 수 있습니다.

It is these four that circumscribe the parameters of the woke worldview. If you carefully examine their agenda, you will recognize that nearly all the programs and initiatives the progressives pursue derive from one of these pillars or some combination thereof.

 

But if you take the time to examine and consider, you quickly recognize that each leg of wokeism's foundational quartet is based on a false underlying premise:

 

- 미국과 다른 서구 사회는 인종차별 주의자가 아닙니다. 정반대로 흑인과 소수는 완전히 평등할 뿐만 아니라 백인 대다수가 이용할 수없는 권리와 특권을 누리는 경우가 많습니다.
- 전통적인 도덕은 부도덕하지 않습니다. 그 교훈은 행복을 억압하거나 망치려는 것이 아니라 개인과 공동체의 안녕을 촉진하기 위한 것입니다.

- 기후 변화는 지구가 탄생한 이래로 지구의 기후를 정의하는 특징이었습니다. 그걸 멈출 수 있다는 생각은 터무니 없습니다.
- 기독교를 두고서 가부장적이며 편협하다는 혐의를 두는 것은 인간의 상태에 대한 심오한 오해를 암시합니다. 현자들의 현명함과 지도력을 존중하고 부도덕과 악에 대해 "저항"하는 것은 개인 복지 및 사회 복지의 전제 조건입니다. 기독교는  그 방법을 보여줍니다.

 

• America and other western societies are not racist. Quite the opposite, blacks and minorities are not only completely equal, but they often enjoy rights and privileges that are unavailable to the white majorities.
• Traditional morality is not immoral. Its precepts are not meant to oppress or spoil happiness, but to facilitate the well-being of individuals and communities.
• Climate change has been the defining characteristic of Earth's climate ever since Earth has come into being. The idea that it can be somehow stopped is absurd.
• The charges of patriarchy and intolerance leveled against Christianity imply a profound misunderstanding of the human condition. Honoring the sagacity and leadership of wise men and being "intolerant" of immorality and evil are pre-requisites of individual and societal welfare. Christianity shows the way.

전체 주의자들은 항상 거짓말에 근거한 세계관을 채택하기 때문에 깨어남 이념의 명백한 허위는 놀라운 일이 되어서는 안됩니다. 오늘날 진보 주의자들의 잘못된 이데올로기의 경우입니다.
요약하자면, 우리의 정치적, 문화적, 사회적 갈등의 표면적 소음과 혼란 아래에서 현재 미국과 다른 서구 민주주의에 대한 가장 큰 위협은 내부로부터의 폭정의 부과입니다.

이러한 전체주의적 요소는 20 세기 초부터 전세계적으로 혼란을 일으키고 있으며 이제 우리 사이에서 깨어남 이념의 진보적 좌파로 형성되었습니다. 내가 미국의 공산주의에서 떠났을 때, 독재주의에 의해 서방세계가 쫒기는 상황이 아니었는데, 오늘의 사람들이 자신의 견해를 자유롭게 표현할 수없는 수준의 독재에 의해 위협받을 것이라고는 전혀 생각하지  못했습니다. 놀랍게도 지금 우리 눈앞에서 그 일이 벌어지고 있습니다.

자유를 더 중요하게 생각하는 사람들은 너무 늦기 전에 일어서서 반격해야만 합니다.

 

The obvious falsity of wokeism should not come as a surprise, since totalitarians always adopt worldviews based on lies. This is the case with the misguided ideology of today's progressives.

In summary: Beneath the surface noise and confusion of our political, cultural, and social conflicts, the greatest threat to America and other western democracies at this time is the imposition of tyranny from within.

These totalitarian elements have been wreaking havoc around the globe since the early years of the 20th century and have now taken shape among us as the woke progressive left. When I left communism for America, I would never have thought that the West would be threatened by the kind despotism that does not allow people to freely express their views. Unbelievably, it is happening right now before our eyes. Those of us who value freedom better stand up and push back before it is too late.
